The Swedish Energy Agency operates, during the period 2008-2011, a research and development program for energy efficiency improvements in the lighting field. Ceebel – The centre for energy efficient lighting in Sweden – invites researchers and all  interested to participate in a conference in Katrineholm the 18-19 August 2010 with the theme of 

Energy efficient lighting
in a human perspective

The Conference in Katrineholm offers:

• Lectures by Mark Rea and Mariana Figueiro from the Lighting Research Center, (Troy, USA)
• Workshops on the theme “Better and cheaper!” and “See, assess and describe light without measuring”
• Presentations of the progress in research and development projects included in the Swedish Energy Agency’s Program for energy efficiency of lighting.
